Megan is an incoming Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University. She uses computational methods to study how teams evolve and perform in complex, high-stakes environments, focusing on the invisible dynamics that drive collaboration.
Her research sits in a liminal space where human behavior and complex systems collide. She asks: What hidden forces shape how teams function over time, and how can we capture those patterns to build better, more adaptive teams?
